What You’ll Be Doing
- Transporting 40-foot containers, steel casing, machinery and other project materials as required.
- Operating Class 5 transport vehicles to support civil construction projects.
- Using WTR endorsements where required and within your competency.
- Coordinating with site crews to support deliveries, movements and daily site operations.
- Following transport, loading and unloading procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements.
- Current Class 5 driver licence – essential.
- WTR endorsements – essential.
- Proven civil construction experience – essential.
- Experience transporting containers, steel casing, machinery or other heavy equipment is highly relevant.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- $34–$37 per hour, depending on experience.
- Civil transport work across the Wellington region.
