Health Tick is a service line of an existing business with a large nationwide client base and clinics located across New Zealand. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience and a passion for Occupational Health to join our team.
With a variety of services being offered including Pre-employment Medicals, Drug Testing, Annual Health Monitoring and Workplace Vaccinations.  No single day will be the same. Happy to discuss hours.

• Initially part time (one full day per week or two half days). We do have flexibility with this. There will likely be other work available as well.

  The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualifications and experience working in Occupational Health preferred but not compulsory.

• Experience providing several different services including - pre-employment medicals, drug testing, health monitoring, health checks, workplace vaccinations, and phlebotomy

• Strong clinical background

• Motivated to practice in the field of Workplace Health

• A fantastic attitude, bringing a strong sense of innovation to create a market disruptive service

• A team player that has strong relationship management skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills

• Strong computer literacy and the ability to think outside the square within the context of technology and the provision of health service delivery

• Excellent written and verbal skills and attention to detail

You will have a:

• Tertiary Nursing qualification

• Current Nursing Council Registration

• Full NZ Driver's License

• Independent vaccinator and phlebotomy experience is very welcome but not essential

• Comfortable driving the Health Tick van

 
Full training and ongoing support will be given to the successful candidate.
 
As part of the selection process you will be required to complete a pre-employment drug hair test, medical and criminal history check.  The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Full training may be provided before Christmas, depending on availability - but with a work start date in the New Year.
