The Brief - The Opportunity at Everest
Are you:
Excellent in Civil3D and genuinely fluent in civil design, not just CAD drafting
A thinker who can take a problem and design a solution, rather than someone who needs every line specified before you draw it
Highly productive and comfortable owning your own output and standards
Keen to build and maintain design standards, templates and workflows that raise the bar for the whole team
Keen to work with a great team of professionals on interesting projects
The Role - Civil Designer at Everest
The role is design focused, not draughting, and requires a variety of responsibilities including:
Producing civil design — earthworks, drainage, roading and site infrastructure — that reflects genuine engineering judgement, not just instructions received
Developing and maintaining Everest's Civil3D design standards, templates and drawing systems
Training and upskilling other staff internally on Civil3D and Everest's design standards
Working closely with engineers and surveyors to align design output with construction and project outcomes
Delivering high-quality work at pace across a varied project load
Contributing to practice development and continuous improvement of design processes
