We are seeking a
hands-on Facility & Maintenance Coordinator to manage and monitor
third-party maintenance, housekeeping and site-support service providers across
two industrial facilities and the Dholera project site. The role is focused on
vendor coordination, service quality, prompt issue resolution and consistent
site standards—not personally performing technical repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate service providers for
housekeeping, waste disposal, sanitation, plumbing, electrical repairs,
civil maintenance, HVAC support, pest control and other facility services.
- Organize preventive maintenance schedules,
routine inspections, service visits and urgent breakdown responses across
all sites.
- Maintain a centralized vendor list, contact
details, contracts/AMC schedules, service logs and open-issue trackers.
- Inspect completed work, verify service delivery
against agreed scope and SLAs, and escalate recurring problems.
- Coordinate vendor access, safety induction and
work permits with site management and HSE before work begins.
- Work with Procurement on RFQs, vendor
evaluations, renewals and service confirmations; support Finance with
invoice verification.
- Prepare concise weekly status reports covering
outstanding issues, completed work, upcoming maintenance and vendor
performance.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in facility
management, maintenance coordination or vendor management at manufacturing
plants or industrial sites.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple
contractors and service providers for operational factories; multi-site
exposure preferred.
- Practical knowledge of general building services,
service contracts, preventive maintenance and vendor SLAs.
- Strong follow-up, problem-solving, coordination
and on-site supervision skills; comfortable working independently.
- Good English communication skills; fluent
Gujarati/Hindi is an advantage for local vendor coordination.
- Working proficiency in Excel, email and digital
task trackers/ERP systems such as Zoho or similar.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, facilities,
operations or a related discipline is preferred.
