We're Hiring: National Account Manager
Department: Sales
Full Time
Shape and lead strategic partnerships with our key national intermediary accounts.
We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to grow relationships with key partners across the UK intermediary mortgage market. This senior role will influence commercial performance, strengthen strategic partnerships and represent Kensington across the specialist lending sector.
The role
Reporting to the Head of National Accounts, you will own strategic relationships with mortgage networks, clubs, distributors and other influential organisations. You will understand partner objectives, align them with Kensington's commercial priorities and deliver measurable value for both parties.
What you'll be doing
- Develop strategic account plans that support Kensington's commercial objectives and deliver sustainable growth.
- Build trusted senior relationships with national intermediary partners and identify opportunities for mutual success.
- Own account performance, budgets and targets, and negotiate and review commercial agreements.
- Use metrics and performance data to shape priorities, drive direction and translate market, competitor and regulatory developments into clear recommendations.
- Work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Underwriting, Operations and Compliance to resolve challenges and deliver exceptional partner experience.
- Represent Kensington at strategic meetings, conferences, partner events and panel debates, delivering credible presentations to senior audiences.
What we're looking for
- At least two years' experience managing significant national accounts or strategic relationships in financial services, ideally within the mortgage intermediary market.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage networks, clubs and distributors, the UK mortgage market, FCA requirements and Consumer Duty.
- Current awareness of relevant market and regulatory developments, including Renters' Rights legislation and FCA consultation papers.
- Experience delivering strategic account plans, managing budgets and commercial agreements, and achieving measurable results.
- A data-led approach, using metrics and performance trends to set priorities, identify opportunities and guide direction.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the confidence to make evidence-based decisions and present commercial recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship management, influencing and organisational skills.
- A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused working style, anticipating opportunities, partner needs and market changes rather than reacting to them.
Ready to make an impact? If you are a commercially minded relationship leader who can turn insight into action, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Why join us?
You will join a collaborative, high-performing team where you can influence commercial strategy, own key national partnerships and help deliver sustainable growth across Kensington's intermediary distribution network.
