Role overview
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects across the AGS Group.
Principle accountabilities
- Delivery of AGS Group capital projects from concept to delivery and integration following the AGS Capital Process.
- Ensure project delivery within agreed time, cost and quality targets whilst ensuring compliance with health and safety and the environment and managing risk.
- Accountable for ongoing management of project plans within agreed budgetary limits.
- Manage technical input through option development, design and scope definition.
- Manage supplier performance and ensure value added.
- Manage project administration including financials, maintenance integration and asset handover.
- Manage quality assurance from construction decision to handover.
- Coordinate technical expertise for asset replacement decisions.
- Ensure clear project goals, milestones, roles and responsibilities are identified, tracked and delivered.
Qualifications and experience
- Project management experience in an operational environment
- Portfolio management experience with diverse projects
- Effective contractor/supplier management
- Stakeholder and customer management
- Decision making and issue resolution
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Airport operating environment experience
- Influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret technical analysis and evaluate options
