About the Role
As our Finance & Insurance Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping customers secure suitable vehicle finance and insurance solutions while delivering an outstanding buying experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting customers with vehicle finance applications, approvals, and settlements.
Presenting suitable finance and insurance options based on individual customer needs.
Promoting mechanical breakdown insurance and other relevant protection products.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, lenders, and insurance providers.
Working closely with our sales team to maximise finance opportunities and conversions.
Managing finance documentation accurately and efficiently.
Ensuring all transactions comply with relevant New Zealand regulations and responsible lending requirements.
Achieving individual sales targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in automotive finance, insurance, lending, or a related sales role is highly preferred.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Confidence in handling finance applications and customer enquiries.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A professional, honest, and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a busy dealership team.
Experience in the automotive industry or existing relationships with finance providers would be a strong advantage.
