About the role:
We’re currently seeking for Fulltime CIT Roadcrew members to join our Christchurch team. Working as part of a supportive two-man crew, you’ll help both collection and delivery services for our clients, while also supporting ATM maintenance across the Christchurch region.
Safety is always our priority, and you’ll be guided by Armourguard’s established safety standards, procedures and policies every step of the way.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Safely transport cash and coin while adhering to strict security, operational and OH&S procedures
Assist with loading, securing and maintaining armoured vehicles, ensuring all equipment is checked and fully operational before each shift.
Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all consignments.
Operate and troubleshoot ATM equipment including resolving Level 1 hardware and communication issues.
Provide excellent customer service and work effectively within a team to meet operational targets.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in Security Industry (advantage)
High accuracy and attention to detail with strong numeracy and data entry skills.
Reliable, customer focused and able to perform under pressure tasks while meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Brings a strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude
Physically fit and energetic—you’ll be constantly on the move and heavy lifting may be involved.
What You’ll Need :
To progress through the recruitment process, applicants must consent to and be able to satisfy the following pre-employment checks:
Ministry of Justice Criminal History, Immigration, Driver’s Licence, and Credit checks
Currently residing in the Christchurch region and legally eligible to work in New Zealand.
Ability to obtain a COA for the Security Industry
Must have a working command of the English language (both verbal & written) - a must!
Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence (for operating a branded Armourguard vehicle)
