Skin Clinic Taranaki is a leading provider of skin cancer diagnosis and treatment in New Plymouth. We pride ourselves on delivering expert care in a warm, professional environment. Our team is passionate about skin health, and we are looking for an efficient, capable and friendly Clinic Assistant to join us in a role that supports both our clinical and reception teams.
The Role
This is a dynamic position that will see you working in all parts of the clinic, caring for our patients, our staff and our facility. One day you may be the first point of contact for our patients, and the next you may be providing vital support to our clinical team.
Clinic Assistant Duties
Preparing, stocking and cleaning treatment rooms
Maintaining clinical stock levels
Ensuring equipment is cleaned and sterilised according to protocol
Understanding and applying the principles of cold chain management
Chaperoning for the clinical team when needed
Maintaining clinical equipment
Supporting patient comfort and care during visits
Welcoming patients and managing check-ins
Scheduling appointments and coordinating bookings
Managing phone and email enquiries
Supporting patient recalls, data entry and patient administration
Processing payments and maintaining accurate invoicing
