The Role
We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated Sales Representative to take ownership of our Auckland territory. Operating out of our Glenfield branch and on the road across the wider Auckland region, you will be the face of Rex Industrial Equipment — nurturing loyal long-term accounts while actively hunting for new commercial and industrial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, service, and grow relationships with existing key clients across Auckland.
Proactively prospect and identify new business across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and trade sectors.
Conduct site visits to understand client challenges and recommend practical equipment solutions.
Prepare quotes, follow up leads, and close sales effectively.
Collaborate with our in-house workshop team to deliver standard and custom-built solutions on time.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record in on-road B2B sales or account management (engineering, industrial, or trade supply background is a strong advantage).
A practical, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to grasp technical product details quickly.
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
High self-motivation, strong territory planning, and effective time management.
A clean, full New Zealand driver licence.
