Experience Preferred

Having min. 2 – 5 years of experience in the system engineering drawings. (Mechanical) Experience in Water / Irrigation / Power / Marine and defense / oil and Gas projects is preferred.

Summary /Purpose of the  role 

The purpose of this role is to: -

  • Do in house drawings for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation system scope of work.
  • Checking of drawing for electromechanical works.
  • Integration and interfacing of the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation system layout for the pumping system project and hydropower project.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of pump house general arrangement drawing for pumping system.
  • Preparation of the Powerhouse general arrangement drawing for pumping system and hydro power plant.
  • Preparation of piping layout for cooling water system, drainage system, oil lubrication system etc.
  • Preparation of cable trench layout, earthing layout, switchgear layout, switchyard layout, electrical panel room layout, motor and generator arrangement drawing, switchyard structure detail drawings etc.
  • Preparation of foundation drawing for the pump, motor, turbine, generator, draft tube and other mechanical and electrical equipments.
  • Preparation of the process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagram, instrument hook up drawing, instrument location drawing along with field cable layouts. 
  • Preparation of the layout for air conditioning and ventilation system, firefighting system, oil pressure unit etc.
  • Checking of the equipment drawing / vendor drawing for preparation of layout of various auxiliary systems.
  • Preparation of 3D modeling of the equipments, pump house and hydropower house.

 

Skills
  • Knowledge of Indian & International codes and standards.
  • Having hands on operation on PRO-E, AutoCAD, MS excel and software.
  • Shall have good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Conceptual knowledge of the basic mechanical design aspects.
