Location: La Vergne, TN
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
Anchor Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team on 2nd shift at our La Vergne facility. This position is responsible for processing customer invoices, verifying shipment documentation, maintaining accurate billing records, and supporting daily administrative functions to ensure timely and accurate billing operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Verify shipment paperwork, packing slips, bills of lading, and other supporting documentation.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoice-related issues.
- Enter and maintain billing data within company systems.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments regarding billing questions.
- Review orders and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with reporting, recordkeeping, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounting teams with billing-related activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous billing, invoicing, administrative, accounting, or clerical experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
