Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Python/Django Technical Lead to lead the development and modernization of legacy Oracle Forms applications into modern web-based applications using Python and Django.

Key Responsibilities:

•              Lead the technical design, development, and migration of Oracle Forms applications to Python/Django.

•              Analyze existing Oracle Forms, PL/SQL code, business rules, and database dependencies.

•              Define application architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.

•              Lead the development team in building Django applications, REST APIs, and web services.

•              Design database interactions and optimize queries, performance, and application scalability.

•              Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, QA, and DevOps teams.

•              Conduct code reviews, resolve technical challenges, and ensure code quality.

•              Support integration testing, deployment, production releases, and technical troubleshooting.

•              Customer Handling from a technical standpoint

•              Responsible for Solutioning & defining implementation approach for oracle features, functionality, behavior & Pro*C & Shell Script Integration

Required Skills:

•              Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.

•              Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and database integration.

•              Strong understanding of REST APIs, web application architecture, and design patterns.

•              Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.

•              Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise applications.

•              Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•              Exposure to AI tools like Co-pilot & Claude Code

Preferred:

•              Experience in Oracle Forms modernization or migration to Python/Django.

•              Pro C knowledge

•              Shell script knowledge

•              Knowledge of legacy application reverse engineering and business logic migration.

•              Experience with Docker, cloud platforms, and application performance optimization.
