As the Afternoon Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of 3 staff members. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Key Resposibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of 3 staff members
- Promote and enforce strong Health & Safety practices
- Ensure staff follow company procedures and safe operating methods
- Coordinate workflow and help achieve daily production targets
- Conduct truck loading and machinery operations following training
- Address issues as they arise and support continuous improvement
- Hold professional one-on-one conversations with team members when required
- Foster a positive team culture and support staff development
Preferred Skills and Experience
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- Forklift licence
- Gantry crane certificate
- Full driver's licence
Training can be arranged for the right candidate if these qualifications are not already held (this doesn't include Full driver's licence).
