We are seeking a professional Communication and Language Skills Tutor to perform the duties and responsibilities:
1. Deliver Communication and Language Skills Training
Deliver communication and language skills training to primary and secondary school students, helping them improve verbal expression, communication confidence, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
2. Develop Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
Develop students’ public speaking and presentation skills, including speech preparation, logical organisation of ideas, pronunciation, audience engagement, and confident delivery.
3. Provide Hosting and Event Presentation Training
Provide practical training in hosting and event presentation, helping students develop the skills required to host school events, introduce programs, manage transitions, and communicate effectively in front of an audience.
4. Develop On-the-Spot Communication and Event Coordination Skills
Develop students’ on-the-spot communication and event coordination skills, including responding to unexpected situations, maintaining audience engagement, managing speaking sequences, and handling live activities appropriately.
5. Design and Deliver Interactive Training Activities
Design and deliver interactive, age-appropriate training activities, such as role-playing, group discussions, speech exercises, mock hosting sessions, and simulated event scenarios to strengthen students’ practical communication abilities.
6. Integrate Digital Technologies and AI-Assisted Learning Tools
Integrate digital technologies and AI-assisted learning tools into teaching, using appropriate educational technologies to support language practice, presentation preparation, personalised feedback, and the development of students’ communication skills.
7. Assess Students’ Learning Progress
Assess students’ learning progress and provide constructive feedback, identifying individual strengths and areas for improvement and adapting teaching strategies to support continuous development.
8. Develop Supplementary Teaching Materials and Learning Resources
Apply educational research and instructional design principles to develop effective supplementary teaching materials, structured learning activities, and student-centered teaching resources to support communication and language skills training.
9. Maintain a Supportive Learning Environment
Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment, encouraging student participation, creativity, confidence, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Requirements for this role:
At least three years of relevant work experience, or a bachelor's degree or higher in an education-related field.
