Class 2 Driver/ Drivers Assistant Casual with Opportunity to Become Permanent

Are you an energetic, reliable Class 2 Driver who enjoys being on the move, working with a great team and having variety in your day? If you take pride in driving safely, getting the job done efficiently and providing professional service, we’d like to hear from you.

Insphire Event Rental is a busy Auckland event rental company with a strong driving and operations team already in place. This role starts casual, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Hours: Driver hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. During our busy event season, flexibility for earlier starts, later finishes, evenings and weekend work will be required.

The role includes:

• Driving Class 2 trucks throughout Auckland

• Delivering and collecting event rental equipment

• Loading/unloading furniture, linen, tableware and equipment

• Checking orders and following delivery schedules

• Completing vehicle and safety checks

• Providing professional service to clients and venues

• Supporting our warehouse and operations team

You will need:

• Current NZ Class 2 Driver Licence

• Legal right to work in NZ

• Safe driving record and confidence driving around Auckland

• Reliability, punctuality and good time management

• Professional communication and presentation

• Physical ability to safely load/unload equipment

• Positive, hands-on attitude and strong team focus

• Flexibility during busy periods

This is not a driving-only role. It’s a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a strong team.
