3:1 (3 weeks on, 1 week off)
6:2 (6 weeks on, 2 weeks off)

The Role
You will be involved in the construction, maintenance and upgrade of high-voltage transmission infrastructure, including:
Climbing transmission structures and performing work at heights
Tower assembly and erection
Stringing, tensioning and conductor installation
Insulator and transmission hardware installation
Rigging, lifting and positioning components during construction activities
Assisting with pulling and tensioning operations
Safe operation of plant and equipment
Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and work packs
Completing pre-starts, SWMS/JSA documentation and risk assessments
Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity
About You
We are interested in speaking with qualified Line Mechanics who possess:
At least 2-3 years relevant experience as a Transmission Line Mechanic
NZ Line Mechanic qualification or equivalent
Plenty of experience working at heights
Strong commitment to safety and quality work
Current driver's licence
Ability to work collaboratively within experienced crews
Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia
Highly regarded:
New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply - Level 4 (Transmission Line Maintenance), Australian Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead (UET30521), or a recognised equivalent.
EWRB registration
High-risk licences
Rigging, lifting, dogging/dogman or crane experience
Live line experience
