About the role

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the testing, commissioning, fault finding and performance validation of diesel generator systems across a range of client projects. Working predominantly on site, you will be responsible for testing LV & MV generator systems to ensure they are installed commissioned and operating safely, reliably and in accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Testing, commissioning, fault finding and performance validation of diesel generator systems

• Testing LV & MV generator systems

• Ensuring systems are installed, commissioned and operating safely and reliably

• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements

• Working closely with Project Managers, Mechanical Engineers, OEMs and clients to deliver project outcomes

• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality

About you

• Qualified Electrical Engineer

• Experience testing engines, generators or related systems

• Strong experience in generator control systems or generator commissioning
