Based in our modern Brisbane office with hybrid working, this is an opportunity to combine your FP&A expertise, commercial thinking and systems capability to influence decision-making across the organisation.

As Head of Process, Performance & Analytics, you’ll lead a team of system and data analysts responsible for running and enhancing QIC’s financial reporting capability. You’ll have the scope to challenge existing approaches, introduce innovative reporting solutions and build strong partnerships across Finance, investment teams and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise financial performance reporting and analytics.
  • Oversee Oracle EPM Cloud and Oracle Analytics Cloud reporting, including system enhancements, data flows and associated governance.

  • Develop reporting frameworks, tools and processes that deliver accurate, timely and compliant information.
  • Create value-adding analysis using financial and non-financial data, including feasibility assessments for new reporting solutions.
  • Support enterprise deliverables, including Board and Executive Committee papers and ad hoc commercial insights.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, costing, financial modelling and broader FP&A activities.
  • Maintain strong risk management and governance across reporting deliverables, including Finance’s model risk governance framework.

About you

You’re an inclusive and collaborative leader who can move confidently between strategic conversations and detailed financial analysis. You bring curiosity, sound judgement and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical insights.

  • Significant experience in FP&A, management accounting, performance reporting, finance transformation or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing methodologies and complex financial modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with large enterprise systems, with Oracle EPM Cloud and Oracle Analytics Cloud experience highly regarded.
  • Experience leading and developing analysts within a complex, stakeholder-focused environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • A degree in accounting, business, commerce, data science, computer science or a related discipline.
  • Experience within investment management or financial services, together with a CA or CPA qualification, would be highly regarded.
