WAREHOUSE CLEANERS WANTED - HORNBY
CanRecruit is seeking 4 reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaners to join a busy warehouse in Hornby. This is a temporary opportunity, with work expected to continue until at least February.
This is not your typical cleaning role! The position involves keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe through the removal of cardboard, plastic and general waste. It is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving machinery (Bailers/compactors) and warehouse equipment.
Available Shifts
AM:
Sun - Thurs 5am - 1:30pm
Tues - Sat 7am - 3:30pm
Friday - Monday 5am - 3:30pm (4x 10 hour shifts)
PM:
Mon - Fri 3:30pm - midnight
All shifts are 40 hours.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Emptying large bins of cardboard and plastic
- Collecting and removing empty cardboard boxes
- Loading and operating compactors and balers
- Collecting broken cartons and cleaning up liquid spills
- Driving a PC (powered cart) around the warehouse
- Operating an industrial sweeper (full training provided)
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment
What We're Looking For
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Able to work at a fast pace
- Confident operating machinery or willing to learn
- Good health and safety awareness
- Available to work over the Christmas and New Year period
- Able to commit to the required shift pattern
- Temporary work until at least February
- Multiple shift options available
- Full training provided on site equipment
- $26.10, Paid weekly
- A hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment
- Further opportunities post assignment into pick packing.
