At Hynds Rolleston, we move big, heavy gear. Pipes, manholes and concrete products end up in the ground and become the water and drainage networks Kiwi communities rely on. We're looking for a confident, experienced Fleet Driver to get our products where they need to be, safely and on time.
You don't need to have done it all. If you've got solid driving experience and want to learn, we'll back you. You'll start on our transfer truck, and we'll train you up on the HIAB when you're ready.
Your day might look like:
- Delivering to customers and between our sites, safely and on time
- Being the friendly face of Hynds when you're out on the road
- Loading up, strapping down and making sure every load is secure
- Doing your daily truck checks and keeping your logbook tidy
- Helping out in the yard when you're back at base
You're probably someone who:
- Holds a full Class 5 licence
- Has 3+ years of truck driving experience
- Is keen to learn the HIAB, or already knows how to use one
- Takes safety seriously and takes pride in doing the job right
- Is reliable, easy to get along with, and good with customers
- Has an F endorsement or OSH certificate (nice to have, not essential)
