We are looking for an Industrial Cleaner / Production Assistant to join our client’s great team in Mangere!
This is a hands-on role within a busy high-hygiene manufacturing plant, suited to someone with experience in industrial production cleaning, enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things clean and organised, and is happy to pitch in wherever needed.
Shifts / rosters: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 3:30pm
Pay rate: $25.98 starting rate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Carry out daily cleaning of production areas, machinery, equipment and workstations to maintain high hygiene standards
- Remove production waste and recycling, and keep the plant clean, tidy and safe
- Assist the production team with general labouring, housekeeping and other hands-on tasks as required
- Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
- Basic admin tasks for recording
- Complete routine cleaning schedules and report maintenance issues or workplace hazards
WHAT YOU NEED
- Previous experience in an FMCG, food production, manufacturing or similar high-hygiene environment
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck into a hands-on, physical role
- Great attention to detail and a strong focus on hygiene and safety
- A reliable attitude and the flexibility to help out across different areas of the plant
