Roles Available
Systems Engineering Manager
Provide systems engineering management and technical leadership, coordinating engineering activities and providing specialist advice across capability development, acquisition, integration, sustainment and modernisation activities.
- Provide technical leadership and supervise, coordinate and direct engineering personnel
- Establish and coordinate engineering governance activities, technical review forums and working groups
- Review technical artefacts, engineering documentation and contractor deliverables
- Identify, assess and manage engineering risks, issues and dependencies
- Support adoption of MBSE and emerging digital engineering technologies
Systems Baseline Engineering Lead
Provide specialised systems engineering expertise to develop, maintain and govern program-level capability baselines, requirements, architectures and integration artefacts across a complex, multi-tranche capability portfolio.
- Develop and refine capability scope, requirements and engineering inputs
- Lead development and maintenance of capability and system baselines
- Assess system-of-systems integration, technical dependencies and interoperability
- Apply MBSE and digital engineering methodologies to baseline management and change-impact assessment
- Provide technical analysis, assessments and recommendations to governance forums
Design Lead
Support the Program Architect and technical team with technical leadership, systems engineering management, and capability architecture and system design, ensuring technical coherence across project teams.
- Conduct senior technical stakeholder engagement across capability tranches and sub-systems
- Prepare briefs for senior governance committees
- Provide technical leadership across systems engineering and technical teams
- Review key program deliverables (Operational Concept Document, Test and Evaluation Management Plan, Program Strategy)
- Lead technical engagement across government and partner organisations
What We're Looking For:
- NV1 Security
- Tertiary qualification or certification in Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience within capability management, acquisition, integration or sustainment environments
- Experience within communications, networking or complex system-of-systems environments
- Project/program management experience
- Experience working within Federal or Defence projects
- Knowledge of governance frameworks and committee processes
