We are looking for a Duty Manager to support our day-to-day operations. 

Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a loud, shining, and beautiful personality, possibility to step into a cafe manager position in a busy community driven location on Tamaki Drive.

The ideal candidate would have: 

• Previous experience working with a team in a well-established, busy all-day eatery.

• Have knowledge of coffee making and beverages in general.

• Enjoy working within a supportive, yet demanding, community.

• Share our values of kindness, tolerance, support, community, positivity, and fun.

You will: 

• Help develop and implement service standards. 

• Engage and grow your team's knowledge and skills

• Have a can-do attitude.

As a duty manager, you will undertake the following duties:

• Manage costs with the help of the Venue Manager

• Establish strong relationships with the team, and with Head chefs

• Lead and Uphold the morale within the team

• Provide our customers with excellent customer service

• Engage in the community through simple hospitality habits

• Manage customer complaints and provide positive outcomes

• Work on the floor, serving and taking orders

The position will be a full-time and permanent role. The pay has been outlined within Seek and will be dependent on skill and attitude. We offer staff drinks every day, all-you-can-drink coffees and teas, free staff meal per shift from the menu, flexibility, and a caring leadership style.
