At Harbor Hotel & Casino, we are looking for a hands-on, technically skilled, and proactive Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of our property, ensuring that our hotel, restaurant, casino, and facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

You will combine practical maintenance work with independently planning, organizing, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our property.

The position

• Perform general repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance throughout the property

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and maintenance requests

• Maintain guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and outdoor facilities

• Plan and prioritize daily maintenance tasks

• Coordinate external contractors and service providers when needed

• Monitor maintenance tools, supplies, and spare parts

• Ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment

About you

• Completed MBO education, preferably in a technical field

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality or property maintenance

• Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs

• Basic knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is an advantage

• Able to work independently, organize tasks, and solve problems

• Hands-on, proactive, responsible, and service-oriented

• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Valid driver's license
