7 on 7 off - Wed, Thurs (8p-6:30 am), Fri, Sat, Sun (6pm-8am), Mon-Tue (8p-6:30a)

Requirements

• Current ASCP certification
• Ability to read microbiology results independently preferred
• Willing and able to perform venous and arterial blood collection
• Prior experience with microbiology, hematology, chemistry, blood banking, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and blood gases
• Ability to work in a confidential manner
• Able to lift/move up to 15 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 15 lbs. with assistance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and timely with work schedule
• Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned

• Provide accurate and timely test results to support patient care needs
• Gather samples and perform laboratory analysis
• Innovate and adapt to various laboratory challenges
• Contribute positively to interpersonal interactions within the laboratory
• Respond quickly and accurately in a variety of situations
