As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work embedded inside our customers' businesses. You'll reimagine their processes, find the agentic use cases that matter most, and then build agents, deploy them and oversee them in production. You'll be the person who takes a customer from "we should do something with AI" to agents delivering measurable results.
What you'll do
Essential
What you'll do
- Embed and discover: work on site with customer teams to learn how the business really runs, map processes and pinpoint where agents can create value.
- Reimagine and prioritise: redesign processes around what agents and people each do best, then size and prioritise use cases and present the roadmap to customer leadership.
- Build and deploy: design and build production-grade agents and multi-agent workflows. Integrate them with customer systems through APIs, MCP and connectors, and prove quality with evals before go-live.
- Oversee and improve: own the health, cost, guardrails and business outcomes of agents in production, and keep tuning them.
- Grow and share: drive adoption, find the next opportunity, and turn your solutions into reusable assets for the Agent Factory.
Essential
- 5+ years in software engineering, solutions engineering, automation or technical consulting, including hands-on experience shipping AI agents or LLM applications to production.
- A strong command of agent design: tool use, orchestration, memory, retrieval (RAG), MCP integration, human-in-the-loop design and evaluation.
- Experience with at least one agent framework, such as LangGraph, the Claude Agent SDK, the OpenAI Agents SDK or Copilot Studio.
- The ability to analyse and redesign business processes, and the confidence to work directly with customers from frontline staff to executives.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or LangSmith, including Fleet.
- Familiarity with business application platforms (CRM, ERP, Customer Service, HRIS etc)
- Experience in a forward deployed or customer-facing engineering role.
