Free Spirit Holistic Health Services is growing - and not in a “we need another person to fill a treatment room” kind of way. There’s a much bigger vision here. Kelly is building a holistic health offering across the Auckland region, with a particular passion for making great practitioners and complementary health services more accessible throughout South Auckland.
We are looking for a Massage Therapist who would like to become part of that growth. This is a contractor opportunity with genuine flexibility around how it could work. You might be an experienced therapist looking to add something different alongside your existing work, already have your own client base or practice, or be earlier in your career and interested in developing within a multidisciplinary health business. What matters most is that you care deeply about your clients, bring a genuinely therapeutic approach to massage and are interested in looking at what the person in front of you actually needs.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for someone whose idea of massage goes beyond simply providing a lovely hour of relaxation. There is absolutely a place for that - but Free Spirit is particularly interested in practitioners with strong therapeutic capability. You may already have experience in areas such as Tui Na, Emmett Technique, deep tissue massage or other therapeutic modalities, or you may be genuinely interested in developing further in these areas. You’ll work independently with your clients while being part of a growing multidisciplinary environment where practitioners can share ideas, collaborate and refer across disciplines where appropriate.
You’ll be:
A qualified Massage Therapist with appropriate training and professional credentials
Client-focused, professional and confident working independently
Experienced in therapeutic massage techniques, or keen to continue developing your capability
Someone who takes the time to understand what each client needs and tailors’ treatment accordingly
Interested in holistic health and multidisciplinary ways of working
Collaborative, curious and comfortable contributing ideas as the business grows
THE PRACTICAL STUFF
There is real flexibility around the structure and hours. Rather than prescribing exactly what this needs to look like, we’re focused on finding the right Massage Therapist and then working together to create an arrangement that works for both you and Free Spirit. There’s genuine opportunity to grow alongside the business and to have a voice in how the massage offering develops.
