Through Rio Tinto’s partnership with Chandler Macleod, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers to join the Dampier Salt Operations in Dampier.
This is a great opportunity to join a safety-focused team working on site with Rio Tinto. You'll work alongside experienced crews, supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to safe and reliable outcomes.
Reporting to the Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
• Operating and driving trucks safely throughout the site
• Supporting daily operational requirements across the team
• Assisting the wider team when and where required
• Work safely within Rio Tinto procedures
About You
• Previous site-based truck driving experience
• Previous mining or heavy industry experience
• Hold a valid HR drivers license
• Experience operating site-based vehicles such as haul trucks, tippers, water carts, Moxy trucks, or similar equipment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dedication to everyone's safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to work the rostered shifts (12.5 hour shifts, days and nights)
• Current C Class manual driver's licence
• Relevant trade qualifications and certificates
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and other testing
