We are currently seeking an experienced 2IC to be our Area Branch Manager's righthand person.

ComDuc specialise's in the cleaning of commercial kitchen extraction systems and other at height or difficult cleaning work. Our teams geographically cover the Mid North Island and from time to time you may need to travel with them for coverage, training, support or audit purposes.

The 2IC role supports training, administration and onsite tasks, amongst many other duties to keep our depot and teams running smoothly.

Having a Site Safe Passport and experience in Height Work, Elevated Work Platforms, Confined Space, First Aid & chemical handling training is an advantage but full training can be provided.

Requirements for this role:

• A full clean driver’s license is required for this position.

• Experience supervising or leading people (preferably in a remote working situation)

• Experience in SWMS, Permits, induction type paperwork would be highly regarded

• Ability to pass drug/alcohol test(s), a clean police record and the ability to pass MOJ checks for the secure client sites we visit.

• Comfortable working with ladders, elevated work platforms and roof work at heights, using safety ropes & harnesses.

• Be physically fit and self-motivated

• Can lead by example and not afraid to get involved in the team's work when onsite

• Reliable and keen to turn up for work with ability to take ownership

• Good English language skills to understand instructions & complete training/obtain qualifications/certificates

• Mechanical aptitude an advantage
