Appoint is working with an established Queensland contractor seeking a Construction Manager to oversee its civil infrastructure and associated services portfolio.
This is an opportunity for an experienced civil construction professional to step into a senior leadership role, overseeing multiple projects and working closely with delivery teams across South East Queensland.
The role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take responsibility for delivery and commercial performance across multiple projects, leading Project Managers, Engineers and site delivery leaders.

You will bring leadership experience across subdivisions, urban development or related civil infrastructure, ideally within a small or mid-sized contractor.
Experience managing underground services, specialist subcontractors and the interfaces between different work packages will be valuable.
We are looking for someone with:
Senior Project Managers who already manage concurrent projects and teams are also encouraged to apply.

- Lead and develop project teams, setting clear priorities across the portfolio.
- Oversee construction programs, procurement and the allocation of labour and plant.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow and cost-to-complete reporting.
- Guide contract administration, claims, variations and project risk management.
- Maintain client relationships and oversee safety, environmental and quality performance.
About you
You will bring leadership experience across subdivisions, urban development or related civil infrastructure, ideally within a small or mid-sized contractor.
Experience managing underground services, specialist subcontractors and the interfaces between different work packages will be valuable.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven accountability for multiple projects, teams and commercial outcomes.
- Strong capability in programming, resourcing, forecasting and contract administration.
- Experience leading Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.
- A practical, approachable leadership style and the ability to introduce improvements collaboratively.
Senior Project Managers who already manage concurrent projects and teams are also encouraged to apply.
