Our solar division has never been busier. With demand continuing to grow across residential and commercial projects, we’re expanding the team and looking for another NZ Registered Electrician to help meet demand.
If you’ve already got solar experience, even better. If you’re an experienced registered electrician who’s keen to build a career in renewable energy, we’d still love to hear from you.
THE ROLE
You’ll be working across a mix of solar and general electrical work, including:
• Residential solar installs and upgrades
• Commercial solar projects (small to mid-scale)
• Inverter installs, commissioning and system testing
• Fault finding and servicing of existing systems
• General residential and commercial electrical work
• Working alongside other divisions on integrated projects
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• NZ Registered Electrician with current practicing licence
• Experience with grid-tied solar systems is an advantage, but not essential
• Confident with installs, commissioning and fault finding
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team
• Takes pride in workmanship and getting jobs done right
• Good communication skills with customers and team
• Full Class 1 driver licence
• Must currently be based in New Zealand
WHAT YOU’LL GET
• Competitive pay + overtime rates
• Company vehicle + phone
• Medical insurance
• Staff discounts and social club
• Supportive, tight-knit team
• Ongoing training in solar, battery systems and emerging tech
• Real opportunity to grow with a fast-developing solar division
WHY JOIN ATL?
You’ll be part of a team that’s doing a mix of residential and commercial work, not just repetitive installs. There’s room to step up, take ownership, and expand your skillset as the work evolves.
Please note: No applicants will be considered unless they currently reside in New Zealand and hold a full, current New Zealand electrical practicing licence and full Class 1 New Zealand driver licence.
