Job Title: Full Stack Engineer - Cloud & DevOps Location: 100% Remote, Canada Experience: 5+ Years Contract Type: T4 Contract Pay Rate: CAD 45 to 50 per hour Role Summary We are hiring for a Full Stack Engineer - Cloud & DevOps to support and maintain cloud-based and desktop software applications. You will work across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps, helping maintain reliable applications, improve CI/CD pipelines, document system architecture, and support ongoing software maintenance for a distributed engineering team. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Work with Infrastructure and Engineering teams to maintain secure, reliable, and compliant software applications.</li> <li>Support customer success teams in troubleshooting application issues and implementing software fixes and patches.</li> <li>Understand, reverse engineer, and document the end-to-end architecture of cloud-based and desktop applications.</li> <li>Manage cloud infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps best practices.</li> <li>Perform regular software patching, security updates, maintenance, and performance tuning.</li> <li>Support full-stack software applications, services, and cloud deployments.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, application reliability, and software maintenance workflows.</li> <li>Take ownership of supporting and maintaining multiple software products across cloud and desktop environments.</li> <li>Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across different time zones and communicate technical information effectively.</li> </ul> Must-Have Skills <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in software development.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.</li> <li>Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices using AWS or GCP, with proficiency in at least one platform.</li> <li>Experience with full-stack software, services, and cloud deployment.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Go, JavaScript, and React for understanding and maintaining full-stack applications.</li> <li>Proficiency in NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB and MongoDB.</li> <li>Experience with either Jenkins or Buildkite for CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and Linux.</li> <li>Proficiency in Git and knowledge of GitHub.</li> <li>Strong understanding of software maintenance and support for desktop and cloud-based applications.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate ownership of software support, maintenance, and DevOps activities.</li> </ul> Nice-to-Have Skills <ul> <li>Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.</li> <li>Experience working with both GCP and AWS.</li> <li>Proficiency in gRPC and Prot
