BakeTech Services Ltd is a nationally recognised service provider to the Foodservice and Bakery industry. We’re expanding our Christchurch team and looking for a motivated, practical technician who can hit the ground running.

If you have experience in Electrical, Gas, or Refrigeration — and enjoy a role that’s varied, hands‑on, and never boring — this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role

This is a diverse and fast paced position where no two days are the same.

You’ll be servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial bakery and foodservice equipment across Christchurch, with some travel throughout the South Island (including occasional nights away).

🔧 What You’ll Bring

• Minimum Electrical Service Technician (EST) qualification

• Experience in Electrical, Gas, or Refrigeration (any combination considered)

• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and confidently

• Excellent timekeeping and communication

• Clean NZ driver licence

• Professional, tidy presentation

• A practical, “roll up your sleeves” attitude

• Ability to think outside the box

Full training provided for the right person. Preference given to applicants with industry experience.
