  • Support year-end financial reporting and liaise with external accountants.

  • Lead and support the Office and Accounts Coordinator.

  • Maintain effective accounting records.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen financial systems and controls, and improve efficiency.

About you:

You're a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused approach. You take ownership of your responsibilities, communicate confidently and enjoy contributing to the success of a wider business. You'll bring

  • 3+ years' experience as a Senior Accountant in New Zealand.

  • A relevant accounting qualification (minimum Diploma in Accounting).

  • Strong knowledge of NZ accounting standards, financial reporting and tax compliance.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, cashflow forecasting and financial analysis.

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, ideally Lentune and QuickBooks.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work independently.

  • High standards of confidentiality, integrity and accountability.

  • Experience in residential construction, property development or a related industry would be advantageous.
