About the role

As a Front of House Concierge, you’ll be the first and last impression for our members, tenants and their guests. We are looking for a friendly, happy person who is excited to have daily face-to-face interaction with our tenants, members and guests. A warm, smiley person with great communication skills who has an interest in customer service and hospitality will be a front runner for this role. You’ll rotate across our front of house stations, so no two days look the same: lobby reception, the members’ lounge, meeting rooms, events and club hospitality.

This is a corporate concierge role rather than a hotel position. It’s mostly Monday to Friday, with some flexibility needed across shifts and sites.

About the company

Alberts is Auckland’s leading premium workplace and members club experience - blending hospitality, workspace, wellness, events and community into one integrated offering across some of the city’s most iconic buildings.

At Alberts, hospitality sits at the centre of everything we do. From our concierge teams and club spaces through to our meeting rooms and corporate offices, we create environments that feel warm, elevated, professional and genuinely personal. Our spaces are designed for Auckland’s business, creative and entrepreneurial communities to connect, work and thrive.

We are growing a concierge team that delivers exceptional service with polish, energy and authenticity - people who take pride in creating memorable daily experiences for our members and guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming members and visitors by name, and making every arrival feel personal

  • Anticipating needs before they’re voiced

  • Making barista coffee for members, guests and corporate meetings

  • Setting up meeting rooms and delivering premium meeting, event and catering service

  • Managing the concierge inbox and phones, prioritising requests and actioning them with the right team and department

  • Identifying members needs and tailoring these with a suite of concierge services we offer

  • Working with our facilities & property teams to keep everything running seamlessly

  • Keeping all our common spaces immaculate with acute attention to detail

  • Building genuine, lasting relationships with our members driving engagement within our programming, events and club spaces

What you'll bring

  • A genuine hospitality mindset: you get real satisfaction from looking after people

  • Energy, presence and professionalism. You’re polished and composed, and confident on a busy front desk.

  • Intuitive service. You read the room and know what someone needs before they ask.

  • Experience in a premium or luxury environment is preferred. That could be a five-star hotel, cabin crew, fine dining, a private club, luxury retail or executive reception.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills. You’re comfortable juggling the inbox, bookings and walk-ins at once.

  • Clear, warm communication, face to face and on the phone. You’re conversational, never scripted or intrusive.

  • The confidence to make decisions, solve problems on the spot and own the outcome

  • Relationship-building skills: you remember people, follow through and make them feel known

  • Confidence with Microsoft Outlook, Word and CRM and booking management systems

  • Barista experience is a plus

  • You’re a team player with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts across sites

If you come from an EA/PA to executives, advanced 5-star concierge, premium airline cabin crew, boutique hotel guest relations, or strong personal accounts management / client services background, you will thrive in helping us grow.
