About the role

Warehouse Worker helps to prepare and complete shipments product, to inspect and track inventory in warehouse and freezers and maintain warehouse in order.

Key responsibilities

• Move finished stock loaded by production staff onto pallets to assigned place in storage freezer using the Reach Truck or Counter balanced Forklift

• Stacking of finished goods

• Dispatching of goods, stacking and wrapping as per requirements

• Keep accurate records of placement and movement of finished goods in and out of storage freezer

• Prepare stock of pallets for loading finished goods

• Assist with receipt of deliveries

• Move freighted goods into assigned storage places in warehouses

• Rotate stock in warehouse according to FIFO using the Reach Truck

• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accuracy of shipment documentation

• Follow established procedures to ensure good H&S, food safety and hygiene practices in warehouse

• Working in ambient and cold stores areas

About you

• Secondary School qualification

• Valid driver license and forklift license (F indorsed)

• Ability to operate forklift safely

• Proficient computer skills

• Accuracy

• Problem Solving

• Mathematical Reasoning

• Written and Oral comprehension

• Good levels of physical strength and dexterity, stamina to endure hot and cold conditions

• May be expected to lift regularly weights of 20Kg
