What You'll Be Doing

You'll bring your real-world HVAC experience into a classroom and hands-on training environment, helping students understand what it really takes to succeed in the trade.

Your responsibilities will include:

Teaching practical HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrating proper use of HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures
Sharing real-world jobsite experiences, safety practices, and industry knowledge
Guiding students through hands-on training exercises
Helping students prepare for industry certifications and future employment
Encouraging and mentoring students as they develop their technical skills
Working alongside an experienced education team to support student success

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who knows HVAC and enjoys sharing that knowledge with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 3 years of hands-on HVAC industry experience
High School Diploma or GED
Massachusetts Oil Burner License/Certificate or Refrigeration License, or willingness and ability to obtain the required credential within 90 days
EPA Universal Certification preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and connect with students at different skill levels
A genuine interest in helping others learn and succeed

No teaching degree or previous classroom experience required!

If you've ever trained an apprentice, helped a newer technician troubleshoot a system, or enjoyed showing someone how to do the job correctly, you may already have what it takes to become a great instructor.

Your Schedule

Part-Time | 12 Hours Per Week

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
6:00 PM–10:00 PM
