What you'll be doing
- Leading, mentoring and supporting the Design Office
- Delivering hands-on mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor
- Developing 3D models, assemblies, drawings and BOMs
- Driving design quality, CAD standards and engineering improvements
- Solving practical engineering and manufacturing challenges
- Working closely with production and project teams to turn good designs into great outcomes
You're an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong technical capability and the confidence to guide others.
You'll bring:
- A mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent
- Advanced Autodesk Inventor skills
- Experience designing machinery, industrial equipment or fabricated products
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and DFM/DFA
- Experience mentoring, supervising or technically leading others
- A practical, commercially minded approach to engineering
