Your Mission
As Guardian of the Fries, you'll be responsible for:

- Protecting the forklift fleet from unexpected breakdowns.
- Hunting down faults before they become expensive problems.
- Servicing and maintaining forklifts and freezer shuttles.
- Keeping production moving through preventative maintenance.
- Working alongside production and engineering teams to maximize reliability.
- Making sure every machine under your watch is safe, efficient and ready for battle.
- A Trade certificate as Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
- At least 4 years experience working on forklifts, heavy machinery, diesel equipment or mobile plant.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A preventative maintenance mindset.
- The ability to stay calm when others are panicking.
- A healthy obsession with reliability.
- A deep and personal dislike of downtime.
- Modern facility with significant investment in technology and equipment.
- Permanent, full-time position with one of New Zealand's most recognized food manufacturers.

- 50 Hours per week.
- Overtime at normal rate for hours worked over 50 hours per week.
