We are seeking a technically capable and hands-on Services Engineer with a strong background in commercial construction, specialising across building services. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-profile project where quality, coordination and attention to detail are paramount.

The Role Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team, consultants and subcontractors, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of building services across the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and manage all building services packages across Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Fire services.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate services design, documentation and installation with consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage services coordination to ensure all disciplines integrate seamlessly with the building structure and architectural finishes.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, technical issues and construction-related challenges.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, quality, procurement and programme milestones.
• Attend site inspections, coordination meetings and technical workshops.
• Manage RFIs, variations, technical submissions and compliance documentation.
• Ensure all services installations meet project specifications, Australian Standards, relevant codes and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve programme, quality and project delivery objectives.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Services Engineer or Building Services Coordinator within commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Fire services.
• Experience coordinating multiple services disciplines on complex construction projects.
• The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving technical issues.
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Experience working on hotels, luxury accommodation, high-end commercial construction or complex fit-out projects will be highly regarded.
