Purpose & Scope

The role will support the Legal team on legal matters arising from renewable/thermal power and infrastructure businesses, with a particular focus on land due diligence, land-related legal matters, litigation and regulatory support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in land legal due diligence for projects. 
• Support legal matters and litigation relating to land, including civil and criminal matters. 
• Assist with litigation and regulatory/commercial legal matters relating to power-generation businesses. [
• Draft and review legal notices and associated documentation.
• Conduct legal research on various issues relevant to projects and business operations. [
• Maintain legal MIS and reporting for relevant departments. 
• Ensure adherence to company policies in day-to-day legal activities. 
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams.

Qualification & Experience

• LL.B.
• 3–5 years PQE
• Experience handling legal issues in the power sector
