Job Description

Join Salina Regional Health Center's Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) as a Physical Therapist Assistant. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow professionally in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment. You will serve a patient population needing intense rehabilitation, working collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of therapeutic programs and interventions as guided by Physical Therapists.
• Support patients in performing exercises and daily activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress in the EMR, Meditech.
• Promote patient safety and comfort during rehabilitation sessions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience

• Must have experience working in acute rehabilitation settings.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license.
