Part-Time Dog Groomer | K9 Clubhouse, Paraparaumu
Do you love making dogs look and feel their best? K9 Clubhouse is looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to join our friendly team on a part-time basis.
About us
Since opening in January 2026, we’ve built a loyal community of dog families across the Kapiti Coast. We can care for up to 65 dogs a day, open early and close late (6:30am to 6:30pm) to suit busy commuters, and welcome dogs of all ages.
About the role
You’ll provide a “Paw-some Experience” to our customers and their furry friends by making sure every groom is completed to the highest standard, all while keeping the salon clean and hygienic.
- Flexible part-time hours: We’re currently open weekdays, but the grooming area can also open on weekends if that suits you. Let us know what days work best for you.
- Variety: If there’s a gap between grooming bookings during the day, you’ll lend a hand in our daycare, spending time with our happy crew of dogs.
- Grow our clientele: Build a regular client base, help grow our grooming service and share your product knowledge with customers.
What we’re looking for
- Enthusiasm and passion for the care and wellbeing of pets
- A dog grooming qualification is preferred, but proven experience and a high quality of work count just as much
- Previous dog grooming experience (2+ years in a high-volume salon preferred)
- An exceptionally friendly manner to engage customers, build a regular client base and grow sales
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- High work standards and ethics
What we offer
- Flexible part-time hours, with the option of weekend grooming
- A supportive, dog-loving team
- The chance to help shape and grow our grooming service
How to apply
If this sounds like you, apply now with your CV and a short cover letter telling us about your grooming experience. Photos of your recent grooming work are very welcome too!
