  • Competitive Pay: $25.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience) plus performance bonus potential.

  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness: Extended health, dental, and life insurance, plus paid sick days and dedicated pet bereavement leave.

  • We Cover Your Dues: 100% covered OAVT dues, generous annual CE allowance, and access to internal learning platforms (ACT) and monthly CE rounds.

  • Everyday Perks: Annual uniform allowance, 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and generous staff discounts on personal pet care and products.

  • Easy Commute: Convenient reverse commute from Kitchener, Waterloo, or Guelph with free on-site parking.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing anesthesia induction, surgical prep, patient monitoring, and post-op recovery.

  • Performing dental prophylaxis, digital dental/whole-body X-rays, and in-house laboratory testing.

  • Running RVT appointments, vaccine administration, and client education.

  • Partnering closely with our veterinarians and support staff to deliver low-stress, high-standard patient care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Canadian Veterinary / Animal Health Technology diploma program.

  • Current RVT in good standing with the OAVT (or eligible to write the VTNE—new grads are warmly welcomed and supported!).

  • Strong team communication, empathy for clients, and passion for animal welfare.
