Distinction Invercargill Hotel is looking for its next front office super star
Job description
We are currently looking for a dynamic, hands-on Receptionist to join our Front Office Team at Distinction Invercargill Hotel. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is essential. As this is a front-line position, a high standard of personal grooming is key. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work autonomously, while also being an integral part of our wider team.
Some of the key duties of the role include;
Assisting with guest check-in and check-out
Dealing with guest inquiries
Assisting Food & Beverage when required.
Daily cashiering and other general Front Desk duties
Managing the busy flow of reservations via telephone and emails
Communicating with all hotel departments to ensure you are contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the hotel during your shift.
Assisting front office manager and the team with the smooth operation of the front office department.
Requirements for the role:
Ability to work early and evenings shifts over a 7 day roster.
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
Current drivers license.
