About the role
As ERP & Digital Systems Manager, you'll own Business Central, SSR's data and the digital tools our staff use every day, and make sure they work as one. Our systems are built and run by external partners. You'll own how the pieces fit together and sign off changes before they're made. It's hands-on. You'll build reports, make small configuration changes yourself, and hold partners to a clear standard. You'll work alongside our Product Owner, Business Systems, and sit on our Operations Leadership Group.
Key responsibilities
Own Business Central's configuration and setup, and keep a current record of how it works and why
Review and sign off partner proposals that cross systems, move data or change access
Write options and business cases for major changes
Own SSR's data model and metric definitions, and build the Power BI reporting our Board, the Department and funders rely on
Own the integration inventory and access model, and hold operational responsibility for data protection
Set how SSR uses SharePoint and Teams, and which tool does which job
Design security controls, including the Essential Eight, with our managed service provider
Lead an audit of how Business Central is set up and used, then bring the Senior Leadership Group a fix plan that simplifies warehouse operations and monthly reporting
Assess whether Business Central is the right platform for the next 3 to 5 years
About you
Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or a comparable ERP
Strong data modelling and reporting skills in Power BI, DAX and SQL
Experience directing external technology partners, including reviewing their proposals and estimates
The ability to explain technical options, costs and risks plainly to leadership
A commitment to child safety, and to SSR's mission and values
Right to work in Australia
A valid Working with Children Check, held or obtained before starting
Our commitments
SSR is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, and we have zero tolerance for child abuse. Our recruitment includes thorough screening, including a Working with Children Check, a National Police Check and referee checks.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability and people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
