PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

•          Primary Instruction:  High School Credit Recovery/GED

•          Weekly Hours: 10-15 hours per week

•          Balanced Calendar (includes reduced summer schedule)

 MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•          Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate

•          Outstanding communication and human relations skills

•          Reliable transportation (local travel required)

•          Passion for working with at-risk populations and helping them succeed

•          A willing to learn attitude

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Working knowledge of trauma informed practices

·         Previous experience teaching adult learners

·         Knowledge of career pathways/Career Tech Education

Experience with online learning platforms
