An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our staff at Mountainview High School as a Guidance Counsellor.

This role will involve:

• Working with students to support their wellbeing and mental health.

• Providing guidance and confidential counselling.

• Liaising with staff, whānau and external providers, as necessary.

• Administration.

• Reporting.

Confidentiality and communication are vital to ensure this role is successful.

The preferred candidate would be a member of a registered body such as the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, and must hold a relevant qualification suitable for this position.

This role is part time, with hours to be negotiated.
