Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Retail Business in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Management Accountant for 3 months.
Role
Our client is looking for an immediate interim Management Accountant to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
- Prepare management accounts (MA) for multiple entities.
- Manage and review financial reporting across different entities.
- Monitor stock balances, stock movements and associated costs.
- Review and analyse overhead costs across all entities.
- Manage and reconcile company credit card transactions and employee expenses.
- Review travel accounts and travel-related credit card expenditure.
- Ensure costs and expenses are correctly allocated to the appropriate entities and cost lines.
- Review and analyse general ledger accounts, including the preparation and posting of accruals.
- Monitor and analyse cost lines, investigating discrepancies and unusual movements.
- Prepare and review monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
- Support and complete month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Analyse monthly variances against budget, forecast and prior periods, providing explanations for significant differences.
- Ensure accurate reporting of stock, costs, overheads and expenses.
- Identify opportunities for improved cost control and financial reporting across multiple entities.
Profile
The successful interim Management Accountant will have 3+ years experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.
Salary & Benefits:
This role is paying between £225-£300 per day Umbrella (DOE)
